At circuly, we enable companies to also rent out their products via e-commerce instead of just selling them. Doing this, we strive to expedite the change from a linear towards a circular economy. Together with customers like Fahrrad.de, aboDeinauto, or StrollMe we have successfully launched and scaled rental and subscription models on e-commerce platforms.

At the moment we are looking for a talent, that helps us grow our revenue and customer base as well as develop our product to the next level.

backend developer

as backend developer at circuly, your main tasks include:
- develop and maintain our API's
- improve and develop new features of the circuly software

we require the following experience:
- working experience in PHP
- working experience with Lumen or other REST API frameworks
- fluent in English

frontend developer

as frontend developer at circuly, your main tasks include:
- develop and maintain Nuxt & Vue projects

we require the following experience:
- working knowledge of JavaScript, Vue & Nuxt
- proficient in HTML & CSS
- fluent in English

nice to have:
- Vuetify and/or tailwindcss knowledge
- TypeScript knowledge
- GraphQL knowledge

sales manager (circular economy enthusiast)

this position requires thorough German native language skills - this is why the role description is in German.

Das sind deine Aufgaben:

Sei der erste Kontaktpunkt für unsere potentielle Kunden, finde den richtigen Ansprechpartner (Buying Center) und verstehe die Probleme - das alles 100% virtuell
- Connecting dots - sei bereit die Extra Meile für unsere Kunden zu gehen, um sie im gesamten Sales-Prozess zu begleiten (von Erstkontakt über Demo Session bis Vertragsabschluss)
- Du bist die Schnittstelle zwischen potentiellen Kunden & circuly - zeig den Interessenten wie circuly auch anderen Kunden hilft, ein Mietmodell oder Abo-Modell einzuführen und zu skalieren 
- Finde neue Kunden durch Social Selling oder auch Kaltakquise 
- Lass deine kreative Seite zum Vorschein kommen während der Kooperation mit dem Marketing Team, sodass die Leads bestmöglich vorqualifiziert werden

Soft Skills:
- Eigenverantwortliches Arbeiten ist selbstverständlich für dich - “einfach mal machen” ist dein Credo
- Du entwickelst schnell ein gutes Verständnis für die Bedürfnisse und Fragen potentieller Kunden und kannst schlagfertig reagieren 
- Du überzeugst durch starke Kommunikation- und Verhandlungsfähigkeit (klar, präzise & inspirierend)
- Du bist engagiert und authentisch und verkörperst die Vereinbarkeit von Wirtschaftlichkeit und Nachhaltigkeit

Hard Skills:
- Du hast eine strukturierte Arbeitsweise und bringst Project Management Skills mit
- Präsentieren macht dir Spaß - ob eigens entwickelte Konzepte für die potentiellen Kunden oder eine Demo unserer Software 
- Du hast erste Erfahrung im virtuellen Vertrieb sammeln können - best case in Startups und in den Bereichen E-Commerce und Software 
- Du kennst die E-commerce Retail Branche durch erste Praktika oder Berufserfahrung

The title of this page puts it very well. This is not about a specific role, but about you as a character! Even though we are only actively looking for people to join our engineering and sales team right now, this does not mean that we don't need other roles to assemble a rockstar formation to change the e-commerce industry for good.

In the next months we will be looking for a couple of profiles joining us, so we are more than happy to get to know you as early as possible and see if we can bring you in. It does not matter if you are experienced in Marketing, Data Engineering, Business Development, Business Intelligence, E-commerce, Legal & Finance. We are open for internships, working student positions and of course full-time applications.

- ambitious, full of your own ideas that you want to execute 
- bachelor or higher degree with first experiences in the business world (best; in startups)
- enjoy working in interdisciplinary and intercultural teams
- experience in the industry sectors of consumer goods, retail, eCommerce, ideally in the management of strategic projects
- able to cope with a high degree of flexibility and uncertainty
- fluent in English (and German, but not necessarily)

hiring can be an exhausting process, especially when you're the one trying to get hired. therefore, we try to make this a fast and transparent process. additionally, you will always have one contact person guiding you through the process and helping you with scheduling meetings and making introductions. Your process will look like this:

• applicant initial validation, motivations and job match in a get to know each other call I 30-45 minutes
• technical or commercial case study I max 5 days time to deliver results
• deep-dive I 45-60 minutes including the presentation of the case study, if applicable a reference call and (for sales only) a short role play
• meet the rest of the founding team I 30 minutes chat, so you know both of the founders
