2024 Highlights
Bright ideas, big moves, and moments that defined the year!
- Strong and steady wins the race: In 2024, we kept the momentum rolling with an average MRR growth rate of 4.6% per month, reflecting consistent and healthy expansion—proof that steady progress is the best kind.
- Building a bigger fanbase: Our client base grew by an impressive 65%, driving a remarkable 62% YoY growth in subscription GMV. Add to that a 90% boost in revenue per merchant compared to 2023, and it’s clear that happy clients lead to big results.
- From €1M to €2M in record time: In August 2024, circuly’s clients surpassed the monthly GMV milestone of €2M—a nearly threefold increase in just one year! It took us 3 years to hit €1M, but only 9 months to double it, demonstrating ever-increasing speed.
- Efficiency meets scale: 2024 was the year of doing more with less. Both our ARR per employee and the number of subscriptions powered by circuly nearly doubled, proving we’re not just growing—we’re growing smart.

2024 was a transformative year for circuly. Our switch to Google Cloud wasn’t just a technical upgrade—it was a leap forward. The result? 5x faster performance with even greater stability, laying the groundwork for bigger, better developments in 2025.
A New UI That Will Make Anyone Go 🤩
Our redesigned circuly UI didn’t just turn heads—it’s redefining how our customers operate within the circuly Hub, unlocking more value from our solution. Some on our team jokingly call it "a work of art," but we think its real genius lies in its simplicity and usability.

circuly x Posti
circuly is on track to become the go-to solution in the Nordics, thanks to our strategic partnership with Posti—the leading postal service in Finland.
Our partnership with Posti goes far beyond lead-trading. Together, we’re actively developing a direct integration within circuly to tackle critical aspects of the PaaS business model—3PL, reverse logistics, and refurbishment. Posti has also spotlighted us in their newsletters, press releases, and LinkedIn posts, giving circuly the attention and visibility it deserves.

In 2024, we also successfully tackled one of the biggest pain points for subscription business: debt collection.
Debt collection is the latest addition to the 'Secure and Protect' core of the circuly solution. While credit checks prevent subscription fraud by stopping issues at checkout, debt collection ensures protection of your bottom-line cash flow by seamlessly managing overdue payments. With our new native integration powered by Debtist, managing debt collection is now seamless and headache-free. It’s a game-changing addition our customers are already celebrating.

We started the year with the majority of our customers coming from our core industries and as the year progressed, we expanded the application of our solution across a diverse range of industries—proving that circuly is not just a global solution, but a versatile one, adaptable to businesses of all shapes and sizes.
circuly is currently enabling product-as-a-service business model in 17 countries across 5 countries and 15 industries.
New industries in 2024 included fashion, white goods, home appliances, machinery and industrial equipment, consumable and digital products—alongside our existing core industries of kids and baby goods, mobility, automotive, electronics, furniture, and more.
New locations in 2024 include Australia, Austria, Denmark, Kenya, Qatar, and Sweden in addition to our existing locations of Germany, Switzerland, Norway, Netherlands, US, UK etc.
2025 Goals
As we look ahead, 2025 is all about building on the momentum we’ve created for and around circuly. Here's what's on the horizon:
- Surpass €1M ARR: A milestone that reflects our continued growth and customer impact.
- Launch Circuly’s Shopify App: Expanding our ecosystem to empower businesses using Shopify to easily adopt and scale product-as-a-service models.
- Cement Our Leadership in Subscription SaaS for Physical Products: Strengthening our position as the go-to solution for businesses embracing circular models and subscription-based services.
